More than 1,500 women leaders from across the region are expected to participate in this year’s Women’s Forum Asia with the topic “Taking the lead for inclusion: Accelerating through diversity.”
The forum, taking place in Singapore from 18 to 20 September 2019, will be packed with more than 40 lectures, discussions, panels and networking events, introducing over 100 influential speakers, including such leaders as the President of the Republic of Singapore, Halimah Yacob, or Helen Clark, former Prime Minister of New Zealand.
Attendees can look forward to a wide range of topics including entrepreneurship, tech, climate change, life sciences, sustainable development and growth, leadership, inclusion or finance.
Last year, Cambodia had the largest representation out of all participating countries, with 50 delegates attending Women’s Forum Asia. This year will be no different, with top Cambodian women leaders getting ready for the event.
Geeks in Cambodia’s own Adrienne Ravez, a firm advocate for women in business in Cambodia, is attending this year’s conference: “Last year’s edition was extremely insightful, and our delegation learned a lot from the keynote speakers as well as from the other delegates. We are looking forward to finding out more about this year’s program and can’t wait to meet even more inspiring people!” Ms. Ravez described.
Women’s Forum Asia is part of Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society, a platform focusing on bringing forward women’s voices and perspectives on global issues. This event is a unique opportunity for women from all across Asia to learn, participate in discussions, share their ideas, network and find new opportunities.
