Remember when we wrote about the launch of Impact Hub in Phnom Penh here? Just to refresh your mind, Impact Hub Candidate is a global connection of people, places, and programs that motivates, connects, and sets impact. They recently opened their co-working space right in the heart of Phnom Penh, at the Joma Bakery Café along Norodom Boulevard.
To celebrate their official opening weekend, a Social Enterprise Fair will be held on the first floor of the Café on the 23rd of May, Saturday, from 9am to 4pm. The fair will display the work of social enterprises from all across the Kingdom, which will be showcased in different booths where any organisation who registered can introduce / demonstrate their work and sell their products.
Thus, the main objective of the Social Enterprise Fair would be commemorate and promote the works of social enterprises all across Cambodia. If you are really interested in social enterprising, or are a student / entrepreneur / freelancer, or you are keen in Impact Hub Candidate, then you should definitely go to the fair! Moreover, everyone is welcomed to come along, and best of all, it is FREE to attend!
Other than the fair, newcomers are welcomed to attend “Impact Talks” on the 22nd May, Friday, as part of the opening party weekend. Take a sneak peak into the world of social enterprising, where experts from the same sector will provide you with bits of insights into what goes on there. Speakers include Geeks in Cambodia’s very own co-founder, Adrienne Ravez, Sustainable Green Fuel Energy’s CEO Carlo Figà Talamanca, and many more! Check out the full list of speakers below.

Additionally, on the same day of the fair, several workshops will be held on different topics. From 9am to 12pm, attend a half-day workshop that aims to help young professionals learn more about themselves as well as their potential. Click here to register for this workshop!

And if you love taking photographs, listen up! Impact Hub is also organizing a photography competition, with “Why do you love Phnom Penh?” as the theme of the contest. The top 3 winners will be selected on the same day as the fair, and the best pictures will be displayed for one month at the café.
During the evening on the 23rd, party away with Music Arts School (a social enterprise), as a way to end off Impact Hub Phnom Penh Candidate’s official opening weekend!
