Nominate digital innovations for the biggest ICT awards in Cambodia

Phnom Penh, 3 January 2019 – The Cambodian ICT Awards (CICTA) has just opened for nominations. Take a chance and nominate an e-government service, digital innovation organisation, social innovation technology, digital content, research and development, or innovative tech startup, to participate in the largest ICT award in Cambodia.

CICTA gives innovators an opportunity to showcase their achievements in ICT and opens investment opportunities. Winners will also have a chance to represent Cambodia in the regional and global ICT awards.

The award also aims on providing recognition for achievements and successes of digital innovations in the ICT sector and motivate innovative uses of digital platforms and ICT at ministries, local private companies, startups, social enterprises, NGOs and other institutions.

In 2020, CICTA will have six award categories for the best products or services of the year:

Best E-Government Service of the Year for state institutions that use ICT;
Best Digital Innovation Organization of the Year for companies that innovate and use ICT or digital technologies to make their enterprise better and more efficient;
Best Social Innovation Technology of the Year for private companies or non-government organizations;
Best Digital Content of the Year for private companies or non-government organizations that use ICT to produce digital content such as videos, games or audio files;
Best Digital R&D Of The Year for institutions in the field of ICT or digital research and development;
Best Tech Startup of the Year for newly established companies with less than 3 years from the date of official registration that have made a breakthrough with new ideas using ICT.
Since 2015, 120 nominees have registered and 31 have won awards. In 2019, Tesdopi of Edemy Company won the Best Social Innovations of the Year, Muuve won the Best Tech Startup of the year, and the Jevit project of Demine Robotics won the Best ICT R&D of the Year.

The awards are organised by the National Institute of Posts, Telecoms and ICT, and supported by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications.

Nominations will close on the 9th February 2020.
