Meet the co-founder of TOS Fund (Cambodian crowdfunding platform)

There is a common concern in Cambodia for non-profit organisations (NGOs) and civil society organisations (CSOs), and that is funding. Recognising this problem, TOS Fund was created for companies to use crowdfunding as a way to obtain resources needed for their project.

Co-founder of TOS Fund, Mr Cedric Jancloes, will be presenting at Impact Hub’s Happy Hour session on May 5, 2016 at 6.30pm.

Crowdfunding is a method that allows organisations to raise money for a project through donations from the public. Incentives are usually offered after a certain sum is donated.

The mobile platform was launched on November 2015 and was the result of collaboration between Action IEC, USAID, arts initiative Come Together, and software developing company, Alien Dev. It is also in partnership with Cellcard.

Mr Jancloes will be sharing about the tools of TOS Fund, tips to starting a campaign, and how Cambodia is evolving to become better at providing in-country funds for NGOs and projects.

The event is free of charge and open for registration here.
