Cambodia’s leading food delivery and logistics startup, Meal Temple Group, has recently announced their partnership with Freshgora.com, a platform providing on-demand services in Myanmar, as part of MealTemple’s expansion into other parts of the region.
Meal Temple, which is already operating in Laos, has just finished raising seed stage funds and is now ready to enter the Myanmar market. Freshgora, which started less than a year ago, already enjoys plenty of success with a demand of over 100 deliveries per day from restaurants or markets.
Daniel Htut, founder of Freshgora, said on behalf of his team, “We are really excited to partner with Meal Temple Group and offer our customers in Myanmar more services, support and perks, and be guided by Maxime and his team on how to sustain our growth in the market. After only 8 months, we are already tackling the largest local players, with a clean approach on technology, user experience and interface as well as customer service. We are also really inspired by Meal Temple Group’s vision on electric vehicles and social impact ambition.”

Meal Temple seeks to support Freshgora in offering more services to their customers, as Meal Temple’s successes and experience in the industry and regional market would prove to be valuable for the new Myanmar startup. Furthermore, our regional readers can look forward to an on-demand super app by Meal Temple and Freshgora for frontier Asian markets. In the meantime, Meal Temple will explore more of these markets, addressing more than 100 million people by the end of the year, and develop their technology further into a super application model.
