Creating the future: IoT Asia 2018 comes back bigger and better

IoT (Internet of Things) Asia is ready to realise the future of a fully digitised world on March 21 and 22, 2018 with its biggest show to date in Singapore.

IoT Asia aims to be the platform where industry leaders in technology and community partners in society are able to come together to discuss, share and collaborate on all things related to tech.

IoT Asia will be held in a 7,500sqm event space in the Singapore EXPO Convention and Exhibition Centre. For its fifth year, the event is bringing more than 100 expert speakers, over 500 IoT products and services and more than 25 seminars together for an epic showcase of the future of technology!

With the ever-increasing digitisation of the world, IoT Asia has grown with it. From 2014 to 2017, the annual exhibition and conference has seen an increase of over 60% in event attendees, with 1,630 in 2014 to 4,223 in 2017.

Emerging cities in Asia are creating more opportunities for people to use smart devices and join the extensive web that is the Internet of Things, which is essentially every type of gadget connected to the Internet.

As a multi-track conference, IoT Asia 2018 will be focused on four areas:

  • Smart Cities

  • Industrial IoT

  • IoT Data Analytics

  • Enablers

Smart Cities and Industrial IoT will be the main themes for the conference, with Smart Cities as the theme on March 21 and Industrial IoT as the theme on March 22.

The Smart Cities Focus Day on day one of the conference will give visitors the opportunity to learn more about how cities around the world, including Singapore, are evolving to integrate technology into how their cities operate.

On day two of the conference, industry experts in technology will be discussing the current trends, challenges and innovation in implementing technology in different industries for the Industrial IoT Focus Day.

Additionally, the event will have its Institution Zone, Start-Up Exchange and Group Pavilions.

The Institution Zone is for anyone keen on meeting business partners to help grow their business while the Start-Up Zone is specific to start-ups to give them the exciting opportunity of meeting investors. The Group Pavilion in IoT Asia 2018 will see groups from six different countries from Singapore, France, Taiwan, Hungary, Slovakia and South Korea.
