IdeasCamp – A Sharing of Ideas by Cambodian and Regional Technologists

If you an avid believer of the saying ‘two heads are better than one’, then why not be a part of IdeasCamp, an ‘unConference’ that explores a future where ideas lead revolutions and counter-revolutions in the way our community interacts with one another?

An unConference is basically a conference with informal exchanges of ideas and info between participants, and IdeasCamp aims to be an accurate description of that!

A small gathering of technologists and entrepreneurs that are using innovative ideas in tech to create opportunities for others and themselves, the camp’s lineup of speakers are varied and diverse, guaranteeing that participants will glean new insights from the perspective of players in a myriad of fields.

Catherine V Harry – The future of blogging, content outreach and social media.

A vlogger from A Dose of Cath, a blog where she shares honest accounts of daily affairs, Catherine is also the Lifestyle Managing Editor for Sabay and a reporter for AsiaLife, a monthly lifestyle magazine. Discover what the future holds for online content from her perspective.

Essarayoss Mean– Fake News on Social Media from a Southeast Asia POV

A TV producer for SEATV, a media enterprise in Cambodia, he is currently developing a youth programme encouraging young people to contribute to solve social problems. At IdeasCamp, he will be discussing benefits and risks of information sharing, the threat of fake news as well as a possible solution for the issue.

Preetam Rai– The Upcoming Trends and Ideas of Education

An Apple Distinguished Educator (ADE) currently running multiple peer learning projects across Asia, he is a technologist that helps organisations better understand audiences through emerging technology and cultural trends. At IdeasCamp, he would be sharing on the recent updates on education.

With this lineup of speakers sharing ideations in a relaxed, intimate setting of an unConference, this is the event to be to receive fresh insights on the topics of online content and education.
