Do you have an idea that can contribute to solving the COVID-19 situation? Have you been wondering how to help? Now is your chance.
To explore solutions to the unfolding COVID-19 and economic crisis, Impact Hub Phnom Penh is organizing a #HacKHTheCrisis online hackathon this upcoming weekend, from Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th April.
The event is aimed at collaboration, sharing skills and prototyping solutions that can make a difference and potentially save lives, businesses and communities in Cambodia, to bring the community together, show creativity and to raise funds and create partnerships to support the solutions that will emerge at the end of the hackathon.
To participate in the hackathon, you can:
Submit a problem or ideas : Submit a problem you or your organization has experienced as a result of the COVID-19 crisis, or submit a project you think could help by 2nd April. Submitting an idea doesn’t mean you have to take part in the hackathon.
Participate in the hackathon: Apply to join this hackathon and create a team, ideate and prototype solutions for your community in just 48 hours. No age or nationality restriction.
Become a mentor: Work alongside a selection of teams by offering guidance, support and advice, so they can get their solution in operation as soon as possible.
Support an idea/project: Support an idea that could make a difference though your company, NGO, or even ministry, once the hackathon is over. This could be through sponsorship, funding, offering staff time to develop the solution or any other form of ongoing support. bit.ly/supportHacKH
