Over the last two days, we’ve been writing about various programmes and courses that seek to nurture female entrepreneurs in the Kingdom. From SHE Investments’ programme to Technovation Cambodia’s incubator, the spotlight is being thrust on helping female entrepreneurs succeed with their business ideas.
Continuing along that vein, here is yet another incubator programme for women that you could consider – WeCreate Cambodia’s Startup Academy.
A 15-week programme that has been specially designed to accelerate the development of businesses started by women, the course will focus on walking participants through the universal steps required to build a company.
Each week of the programme will feature an experiential business-building session that is tailor-made for startups. These sessions will teach participants how to create a core business model and the various methods of quick revenue generation.
Led by industry practitioners such as local entrepreneurs and business leaders, each session will build on from the previous one so that attendees can develop their product and idea along the way. At the end of the 15 weeks, it is the Startup Academy’s goal to help the entrepreneurs be market-ready.
For us at Geeks in Cambodia, we know there are many in the Kingdom with great entrepreneurial ideas so we really want to encourage you to sign up for the course! After all, the only pre-requisite required by the organisers is that you have a business idea, or have been running a business for less than a year.
This criteria also means that you’ll be surrounded by many who are going through similar experiences and that could create a great networking opportunity as well.
The 15-week programme costs $150 for a team of 3 who are working on the same business idea. If cost is a worry, then you can explore the various discounts and scholarships that Startup Academy is offering.
Sign ups close on January 15 so don’t delay! Head over to http://bit.ly/2hXr2ZX and submit your idea right now! If you need anymore information, give a call to +855 012 370 214 or drop an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
