After a 2-day hackathon event, 5-day technopreneurship camp, several shortlistings and pitching sessions, the time has finally come for the top 15 final teams to give their final pitches.
With their business plans and tech ideas honed and ready after 3 months of intense preparation, the teams will give their final pitches in an attempt to win USD4,000, further training, and a trip to Singapore.
Standing in their way is a panel of distinguished judges: Thomas Hundt, CEO of Smart Axiata; Kanishka Wickrama, CFO of Smart Axiata; Zoe Ng, Managing Director of Raintree Cambodia; Kem Bora, Partner of Mekong Strategic Partners; and Ros Pich Hemy, Head of the Digital Banking Division at ABA Bank.
The top five teams will walk away with USD4,000 and six months of additional incubation training to help further develop their ideas, and the team deemed to have the best business programmed will get to visit world-known businesses like Google, Microsoft and Facebook in an all-expenses-paid trip to Singapore.
Taking place at the Sunway Hotel on Saturday June 9 from 1pm to 6pm, come and watch the 15 teams deliver their final pitches! Be sure to vote for your favourite teams by ‘liking’ and ‘sharing’ their videos (found here) to help boost their chances of finishing in the top five teams for SmartStart Cycle 2.
