With potential for improved economic activities, safety, and quality of life for Cambodians, robotics has many possibilities of positive impact on the Kingdom.
Sponsored by the Department of Scientific Research, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, the Dynamic Systems Laboratory at Villanova University (USA) and the Golden West Humanitarian Foundation, the first robotics conference in Cambodia seeks to enlighten and unite anyone in the field of robotics.
The conference also comes with workshop activities where organisers, selected guests and a round-table activity will focus on discovering the major barriers to robotics and the potential robotics applications in the country.
The Inaugural Conference on Robotics in Cambodia aims to facilitate discussions on the current state of robotics in the Kingdom, and to identify measures to accelerate the growth of robotics in Cambodia. Furthermore, the conference also intends to kick start an exchange of knowledge and collaborations between Cambodian and international robotics researchers.
Anyone working in the area of robotics is welcome to attend the event. This includes researchers and educators, along people working in industries that build or service robots, use robot technologies, or could potentially support robotics.
Held at the Administration Building Conference Hall of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, the Inaugural Conference on Robotics in Cambodia will take place on June 3, from 8am to 5pm.
