Smart Energy Hackathon: Calling All Problem Solvers in Cambodia!

Calling all ITC, business, engineering and energy talent interested in developing smart energy solutions in Cambodia! EnergyLab Asia and Factory Phnom Penh’s latest Hackathon event may be for you.

Dedicated to creating opportunities in the clean energy sector, the 2-day Smart Energy Hackathon held from October 27-28 at Factory Phnom Penh encourages “innovation, catalyses startups and engages talents” through a series of challenges and mentorship. In addition, participating teams stand the chance of winning $500 per challenge, and a grand prize of $2000.

With real world challenges like hacking an incubator for cricket farming and solving solar-related problems, if you have a passion for problem solving, this event is something you should definitely check out.

Note that sign-up dates end by 15th October and all participants are required to attend the challenge workshop on 20th October. In addition, the pitch for the grand prize will take place from the 1st-7th November 2018 during International Clean Energy Week.
