The conference brings together representatives from Cambodia’s private sectors, the ministries of Commerce and Women’s Affairs, and the international community, to celebrate Cambodian female entrepreneurship in a fun and informative forum.

The day-long event features the following:

  • A panel discussion celebrating female entrepreneurs

  • A business pitch competition to encourage female entrepreneurs to grow their businesses through money and in-kind support

  • Interactive workshops facilitated by Cambodian experts: overcoming societal pressures as a female entrepreneur and the importance of diversity in the workplace

  • A marketplace showcasing SHE graduates’ products

  • An evening networking event run by Women in Business Cambodia

The workshops, speeches and pitches will be delivered in Khmer, and English translation available.

This year’s event at the National University of Management is intended to focus more on investing in all areas of women in business, rather than just businesses, Ban Vecheka, Marketing and Event Coordinator for SHE told Geeks.

The conference is targeted at women business owners (or those wishing to start a business), as well as anyone supportive of women in business. With the focus on networking, it promises to be a great way to expand your business or contact network, and meet like minded people!

Tickets are available from the SHE head office, and the Tuol Tom Poung and BKK1 branches of Lot 369 cafe for $5. There is a 50% discount if you buy your tickets via Pi Pay. Lunch is provided by Moon Cafe, a successful SHE entrepreneur!
