Seedstars Summit Asia will bring together new promising start-ups from the region

For three days, leading tech entrepreneurs will meet to support Asian startup community.

Phnom Penh, 2 September 2019 – Seedstars, startup community and investor operating in emerging markets, will hold its 4th Asia Regional Summit in Phnom Penh from 27 to 29 November 2019.

To facilitate business and investment opportunities, the Seedstars team will invite over 300 stakeholders and different investors, mentors, ambassadors and partners to the event.

As part of the Seedstars Summit Asia, participants can expect both theoretical and practical bootcamp training on growth models and acquisition channels, pitching sessions, meetings with key investors and entrepreneurs and many networking opportunities.

According to Seedstars, their main focus is on building a strong network for innovation and technology in Asia.

“It’s been an incredibly exciting year for Seedstars in Asia, with the launch of our first Academy and Seedspace in Myanmar, the acceleration program in Cambodia, the launch of the virtual Investment Readiness Program, and the addition of three Pacific Island countries to the Seedstars World Tour,” said Rosie Keller, Regional Manager for Seedstars.

The regional finale of Seedstars World Competition, early-stage startup competition for emerging markets, will also be part of the summit. Hundreds of seed-stage startups from more than 17 cities had the opportunity to participate in local bootcamps and pitch competitions and the best now have the opportunity to represent their country at the event.

The most promising ventures will be then selected to participate in the Seedstars Summit 2020 in Lausanne, Switzerland, compete for the title of the Seedstars Global Winner and win up to USD 500 000 in investments.
