Held on May 7th to 8th at Koh Pich Buildings A and B, the Cambodian STEM Festival, organised by the Ministry of Education for Youth and Sport and Zaman International, featured more than 200 projects and gave students the opportunity to explore the world of scientific knowledge and skills.
ZIS organises the STEM Festival that hosts 10,000 visitors, ranging from public school students to interested members of the public.
The Cambodian STEM Festival provides students opportunities to address problems using scientific reasoning and methodology. Apart from helping students make informed decisions in STEM careers, the festival also encourages students to strive for their best by providing them a venue for them to share their efforts, discoveries, and inventions. It also allows them to compare their research results with other students.
High profile officials such as His Excellency Im Kouch, Secretary of State, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, and His Excellency Simon Fellows, Charge d’Affaires, Australian Embassy also attended the STEM Festival and Sport. Mr Ejder Kilic, Chairman of Zaman Co. Ltd hosted the event.
