With just a few taps you can type full sentences. iOS 8 predicts what you’re likely to say and suggests various words you usually use to help you complete your sentences. This function also  adapts to your casual typing style so no need to worry about your texts looking way too formal. With the help of third party developers, the swipe function is available on the keyboard.

The new spotlight search also intelligently considers factors such as your location and suggests nearby locations based on your search. This software update also helps to keep all your Apple products in sync at all times.

This update also works best on the new iPhone 6/6 plus, so if you’re using anything older than an iPhone 5, it’s better to stick to the software your iPhone’s running on as this update requires 5GB of free space and would cause the older iPhones to lag.

When it comes to iOS 8, we’d say patience is definitely is a virtue. It would be best to wait till iOS 8.0.2 is released, as some iPhone users were left unable to make or receive calls and use the Touch ID function after updating their iPhones.

Don’t fret, as Apple plans on releasing iOS 8.0.2 with a fix for the issue in the upcoming weeks. The wait for Apple’s coolest software yet will surely be worth it!
