Mobile Review: LG L65 Dual D285

LG may have really outdone themselves this time with their new LG L’65 Dual D285 Android Smartphone that has won the hearts of mobile reviewers everywhere since its launch in April.
So let’s take a look under the hood at what makes this device such a fan favourite.

First off, the L65s compact and portable design allows the phone to sit comfortably in your hand and even in the smallest of pockets. It also features a 4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen that outputs at a vibrant 217ppi. At present, the L65 is only available in either the classic black or white defaults.

The camera isn’t half-bad either, sporting 2592 х 1944 pixels with auto focus and LED flash. Additional features include Geo-tagging, face detection and a panorama function, which allows you take breath-taking panorama pictures.

Other prominent features include a dual-sim slot that allows the use of another mini-SIM card to be used alongside the main SIM, a useful add-on for frequent travellers. Its 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM and 32GB microSD capacity also ensure there’s enough space for all your apps to run smoothly without a hitch.

On the downside, the phone doesn’t support a 4G network and has a questionable battery life due to its Li-Ion 2100 mAh battery but I wouldn’t be too quick to write off the LG L65. Its modest price tag of $236(USD) coupled with its vast array of features make this device a fierce market competitor.
