Technovation Cambodia is back once again, with 14 teams of young Cambodian females undergoing the final preparations before they pitch their ideas before judges and audience on May 20.
The global programme has helped more than 200 Cambodian female students between the ages of 10 and 18 learn how to develop coding and practical business development skills to address problems in their communities, with the end goal being the production of a working mobile application.
Teams of between three and five people spend 12 weeks gaining hands-on experiences developing an application prototype, business plan and a video pitch under the watchful eyes of coaches and mentors, growing their tech skills on their way to becoming tech leaders and entrepreneurs; and having some fantastic experiences along the way.
On Sunday May 20, the 14 Cambodian teams will pitch their work to a panel of judges from the tech and development sectors, all vying for a scholarship and an entry into the world competition.
Come down next Sunday morning to Hall A at the the Institute of Technology of Cambodia, and show your support as the teams present their business plans and apps. We hope to see you there!
