Startup Asia Jakarta will be held on the 26th and 27th of November 2014, at Plaza Bapindo. A huge 2-day conference that showcases newly launched and product-ready tech startups born in the region, as well as various highlights for networking, and the ever so popular Arena pitching competition. Last year, there were 1,255 participants.

A major highlight, where top 10 startups from the Asian region will battle it out in the Startup Arena. Winner brings home US$10,000 and gets their startup engraved on the Startup Asia Champion trophy. Submission is open till 1st November 2014!
A showcase of Asia’s startups, where you can witness product demos and new innovations. You can register for your own booth to display your product, network with potential stakeholders or possibly receive media attention.
A solution for startups struggling to meet with investors. Startup Asia Jakarta has scheduled more than 30 local as well as regional investors to meet with startups during the Speed Dating session. Entrepreneurs can deliver their pitches and perhaps develop a network with these investors.
A channel to pitch your startup to media companies around Southeast Asia. Startups queue to do a 10 minutes pitch to each media, but bloggers from these media companies can stop your pitch at any time.
A connection between startups and big corporate companies such as incubators, telecommunication companies, multinational corporations etc. Get to meet these big firms exclusively at Office Hour.
An innovative way for startups that are hiring to meet students – with their fresh ideas and young minds. Startups that require hiring will have a sticker on their booths. More than 500 undergraduates are invited to engage with these startups.
The Hackathon will happen from the 15th to 16th of November, and the demo day will be on the 27th of November. It will be held at Binus University, Syahdan Campus. Get to meet new developers, explore new APIs and win prizes for the best hacks.
Startup Asia Jakarta has a networking application, powered by Jublia, the official provider selected by Tech in Asia. It is extremely user-friendly, where the application will rank delegates in order of their relevance to you. You can then review profiles and schedule meetings with attendees, before and after the event!
