Already in its second year, the inagurual Internet of Things Asia conference and exhibition is back for another exciting 2-day feature. This year, the event will be held at the MAX Atria at Singapore EXPO, from 8-9 April 2015.
Many of us have probably heard of “Internet of Things” (IoT), but not all of us have a firm understanding of this popular term. According to Forbes.com, the IoT is a “giant network of connected things”. You can also click here to understand more on what IoT is all about.
In 2014, the IoT Asia conference and exhibition aimed to accommodate the needs of the ever-growing IoT industry in the Asia Pacific. It was directed towards more than 1600 businesses, government agencies, and solution providers, equipping them with a distinct way of gaining knowledge about and benefiting from IoT solutions to enhance business operations, decrease charges, increase outputs, and make lives easier.
The event thrived on more than 1600 attendees, 58 speakers, and 41 exhibitors – all of whom derived from a total of 11 countries. This brought about S$4.62 million amounting to business transactions!
Leveraging on the build up of the IoT industry profile in Asia Pacific, 2015’s event will feature significant technological advancements and potentiality to businesses, heighten understanding, and of course, create a stronger following in the IoT industry.
