Impact Hub’s Breakfast with the Expert featuring investment expert Bora Kem

Ever had the thought that it would be great to wake up one morning, have a delicious breakfast paired with a cup of perfectly brewed coffee, and as you slowly savour your meal, an expert is simultaneously spilling all the secrets you need to perfect your pitch and win investors to your budding business idea?

Well if you have (or haven’t but have gotten intrigued by that proposition), then you better save a morning spot on your calendars for Impact Hub’s Breakfast with the Expert on 23rd May.

A monthly event, Breakfast with the Expert is an event that realises the dream of having an intimate discussion with an expert over a cuppa and meal, presenting the chance for questions to be answered on the spot from the mouth of the speaker himself.

This time round, the morning breakfast topic of the day would be tips on winning investments dished out by the invited expert, Bora Kem.

Bora Kem is the investment manager of Smart Axiata’s Digital Innovation Fund, a USD$5 million venture capital that invests in early stage startup. He is also the investment manager at Mekong Strategic Partners, where he advises on corporate strategy and transactions. Boasting over 10 years of experience in the financials services industry in the US as a private equity investor at Equilibrium Capital and public equities investor at Putnam Investment, he was also an early member of the Rocket Internet team in Cambodia, an investment consultant at Leopard Capital, a business development manager at Sandbox Industries, a Chicago-based start-up accelerator.

Backing up his already stellar credentials is his B.A. in economics from Dartmouth College, an MBA in finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

If these two paragraphs haven’t clued you in, Mr Bora Kem is extremely well versed in the finance and investor field, and would be speaking on the best opportunities to meet and connect with investors and how to get them on board with your business.

This event is your chance to have all your burning questions on investments answered by the investment expert himself, so hurry and register yourself here: Spaces are extremely limited, and to cover breakfast and coffee, members only have to pay $3 while non-members pay $7.

A pretty good deal in our eyes, especially if this event is where you potentially find the perfect method to obtain investments that kick starts your business.
