Impact Hub Phnom Penh: 21st Century Learning

By: Alicia Leck

Great news for innovative young people all over Cambodia! Impact Hub Phnom Penh is launching a new free online learning platform that will bring fascinating Khmer-language lessons right to your computer and mobile screens.

Impact Hub has long supported the development of young minds in Cambodia, but up until now this has largely been based from its Phnom Penh center. This online initiative aims to make access to information available for everyone in every province, explained Managing Director Olivia Hough.

“There is an inspiring young generation across the country who could benefit from Impact Hub’s vast network, knowledge and support systems, and thanks to an online platform we believe we can serve them. We hope we can make informative, high quality, engaging content accessible to all Cambodians who would like to create a positive impact in their community, regardless of location and language.”

The first course will start on 30th January 2019 and will focus on “21st Century Leadership.” Supported by the British Embassy in Cambodia and internet provider Ezecom, the course aims to equip young leaders today with the necessary attitudes needed to become inspiring and supportive leaders, and sounds very interesting to us!

New courses will be added throughout the year and are set to focus on topics ranging from innovation and impact, to technology and investment. Each of the courses will benefit from leading local and international support to bring the newest thoughts and ideas to Cambodian audiences.
