Impact Hub Phnom Penh continues to grow and develop, offering more information, helping more startups and making more of an impact, so says the latest Impact Report released on Monday.
2017 and 2018 was a busy two years for Impact Hub, with a number of successful initiatives, including the Toyota Impact Challenge, SmartStart, SmartSpark, Hub Entrepreneurs Club, work with UNDP and many many more!
According to the report, Impact Hub held 185 events, on-boarded more than 35 mentors and welcomed over 180 members to the Hub Entrepreneurs Club, and helped the 105 teams that participated in the 10 programs between 2017 and 2018 to receive almost $150,000 in startup funding!
With a strong focus on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, programs at Impact Hub aim to Inspire, Enable, Grow and Connect, and from what we can see at Geeks, this is something they achieve very well!
For 2019 and beyond, the aim is to take Impact Hub beyond Phnom Penh; the launch of the online Khmer-language series, the imminent opening of the Innovation Garage and working with Accelerate2030. Geeks in Cambodia is looking forward to see how these initiatives develop, and as always, we will write about any updates of interest to Cambodia’s tech and entrepreneur community.
