Happy New Year from Geeks in Cambodia!

Tens of thousands of readers and over a hundred thousand page views later, we have arrived in 2017.

Here at Geeks in Cambodia (GIC), we want to express a heartfelt thank you for all your support in 2016 and wish you a very happy new year! Without you, we would not have been able to arrive at the various milestones we achieved in the past year.

In March, our efforts in promoting the tech, entrepreneurial and startup scene in the Kingdom were recognised at the 2016 CSR Awards Ceremony as we won an award under the Economic Responsibility and Governance category.

Then, in the later part of the year, we also announced our partnership with Smart Axiata, who have been very active in supporting various tech and startup events in the Kingdom, including Hackathon #SVtoPP and the STEM Festival.

We’re really excited to see how this partnership will begin to flourish in 2017. We believe that together with Smart, we’ll be able to further thrust the spotlight on up and coming tech startups and entrepreneurs in the Kingdom. In this way, we hope to see the ecosystem grow leaps and bounds year on year.

On top of these achievements, GIC has always been a medium which delivers the latest tech news through articles so here’s a recap of our top 5 articles written in 2016 for you!
