Google Welcomes the World To Cambodia with Brand New Street View Imagery

Today, on 21 August 2014, Google announced the release of a new Street View imagery, allowing users to view, and moreover to navigate with a 360-degree street-level imagery of main cities and provinces in Cambodia, such as : Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Stung Treng, Kratie, RatanakKiri, MondulKiri, Kampong Thom, Kampong Cham,Tbong Khmum, Kep, Kampot, Preah Vihear, Oddar Meanchey, and more. This new Street View imagery of Cambodia is now available on both Google Maps and Google Street Views.

To acess the street-level imagery, you can drag the orange “Pegman” icon on the right side of the map to a blue highlighted street. You can see below an example of how to navigate with the 360-degree street-level imagery :

People in Cambodia will definitely benefit from these features, starting with local businesses that will have the possibility to directly embed nice views of their buildings / offices on their websites. Tourists will also be able to have a look at the hotels they will book, and to discover some of the stunning panoramas Cambodia can offer :
