Google DevFest Cambodia 2015

A big shout-out to all you Google lovers around the globe! This year, it is Google Developer Group Cambodia’s third time organising the much-anticipated annual DevFest (Developer Festival), which is held annually between the months of September to November since 2013. Held in Norton University the very first year and Zaman University on the second, it will be held in Cambodia’s Korea Cooperation Center inside RUPP Campus this year from the 3rd to the 4th of October from 08.00 AM – 05.00 PM.

Be sure to expect an exciting line-up as you join many others who love technology just as much as you do! The 2015 DevFest will be taking on a different approach by making user participation the core, rather than traditional presentations. A special women specific group will also be implemented for the very first time.

Opening Session

The director of CKCC and several notable people from Google and other successful local developers and Technopreneurs will be giving an opening speech. A Q&A session will also be open to the floor to answer any burning questions you have!

Hackhathon Zone

To participate in the Hackhathon, interested parties got to first go through a quick programming quiz and 50-80 participants will be selected based on results to join. Google Technology will be used during the activity and you can learn more from https://developers.google.com.  The second half of the activity will be held on the second day.

Coding Zone

A room will host 40-70 developers that will join and write a variety of guided Code Lab.

Women in Technology Zone

This zone is designed specially for women to give tech talk, introduce new ideas in tech, share their experiences and come together to code for the full day.

Android Zone

The Android zone will magnify on the Android M and train developers to code in Android and guide them on how to use the Android Studio altogether.
