The deadline for video applications for the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Education Video Competition is fast approaching on September 16!
Three videos will be selected as winners and will receive cash prizes of $500, $400 and $300 USD respectively. The most popular video on Facebook will receive $300 as well, with each video only eligible to receive one prize.
Staff from the Asia Foundation will evaluate and shortlist the videos, before final selections are made by the U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh.
Started by the U.S. Department of State, the YSEALI programme seeks to build the leadership capabilities of young people in the region, and thus nurturing a community of leaders in the ASEAN region.
The Asia Foundation in Cambodia hosted the YSEALI Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education Regional Workshop in 2018 and as part of this programme the foundation is inviting candidates to submit entries to the YSEALI STEM Education Video Competition.
