As March draws to a close, it is the time of the year again where the rain goes into hiding and the heat becomes almost dizzying, Khmer New Year rolls in with its grand festivities, and ticketing for the much anticipated Echelon Asia is finally open!
Organised by e27 and in its 18th run, Echelon’s goal to empower entrepreneurs to build and grow their companies is still ever present.
This year, Echelon has expanded its conferences around SEA with two newest additions, Philippines and Myanmar to its traditional list of Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam.
Each conference is an intensive two-day tech and business event localised for the country’s market with a wealth of speakers, workshops, exhibitions and live pitching. Attracting a myriad of international speakers, investors, mentors, startups and members of the tech community, delegates will be engaged in high-level keynotes, discussions and are given opportunities to network and showcase their products.
The introduction of Philippines and Myanmar to Echelon’s SEA story is not the only new addition; their much-anticipated TOP100 programme, a structured networking series, is going online!
Now a full-fledged online fundraising platform that connects startups and investors using matching algorithms, sessions are less constrained by distance or time, enabling startups to fundraise all year round, and investors to expand deal flow opportunities.
In this programme powered by Echelon Connect, besides being able to communicate and network online, participants also gain discounted access to exclusive e27 and partner events all over Asia. Not to mention, online media coverage on e27’s media and other news sites and offline public exposure through TOP 100 EC Connect offline sessions held at every conference.
Startups can also choose to pitch on the main stage of conferences in the TOP 100 Fight Club and gain valuable feedback from a judging panel of investors and the validation of audiences from the tech ecosystem.
These conferences happening across the year would then lead up to the main Echelon Asia Summit held in Singapore from June 28 to 29. The summit will feature the most diverse audience in the region with delegations from over 20 countries along with 3 different stages – Future, Content and Build & Reach – for different content styles.
Workshops and masterclasses would also be conducted to equip attendees with the latest trend insights, best practices and market access intelligence.
The top 100 startups selected across APAC under The TOP100 Startup Search are also given the opportunity to showcase their products on stage during this Summit to a well-rounded audience.
As always, Echelon Asia Summit provides various platforms for startups and investors to levarage on for network and connections such as marketplace and exhibitions, Echelon Connect, where qualified relationships are through curated connections with investors, startups and mentors., and an Echelon After Dark after party to mingle with entrepreneurs in the community.
Undoubtedly, the journey of Echelon across SEA is one that continues to present the tech and entrepreneur community a myraid of unique opportunities and enrichment that has helped boost the region’s tech ecosystem. Geeks in Cambodia definitely thinks so, and are in full support of this yearlong event every step of the way.
