Cambodia’s startup ecosystem has been growing a tremendous pace, with recent initiatives like Cambodia ICT Awards (CICTA), TOP100 APAC Cambodia Qualifiers and SmartStart Cycle 2, showcasing both the great talent being developed in Cambodia, and the regional interest.
While Phnom Penh is known for its strong startup ecosystem and established co-working spaces like Emerald Hub, Impact Hub and Tekhub, Siem Reap has seen the emergence of several new co-working spaces.
Development Innovations Cambodia went to see just what is going on in Siem Reap, and found a handful of co-working spaces that will boost your productivity whilst you enjoy the wonders of Temple Town:
Bio-Lab Café & Office
The first level of Bio-Lab houses a coffee-shop and the second level is a co-working space complete with both indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor consists of two balconies overlooking the active temple complex of Wat Bo, the other looking out on the local neighbourhood. Bio-Lab provides wifi, scanning facilities, lockers and meeting rooms suitable for group projects. Being more than just a café, Bio-Lab occasionally organises events and workshops for the community and with frequent drinks promotions via their Facebook page, Bio-Lab Café & Office is definitely a place to get good food and work done!
