The Cartier Women’s Initiative is back, driving change and empowering more female entrepreneurs with their impact-driven startup ideas, and selection this year is open to female-led Cambodian startups!

Attracting women from over 45 countries worldwide, the Cartier Women’s Initiative hopes to provide the resources needed for women entrepreneurs to create a positive impact in their community. The competition is broken down into three key stages:

Stage 1 – Eligibility & Initial Jury Selection

10 to 12 candidates from each region (Latin America, North America, Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East & North America, Far East Asia and Southeast Asia), emale ewill be be selected from the pool of applicants based on their validation and scaling-up of project idea.

Stage 2 – Coaching & Business Plan Preparation

The shortlisted finalist will go through a 4-month intensive online and telephone support programme where they will be coached and mentored by experienced coaches.

Stage 3 – Final competition

Finalists will present their business plans to a panel of judges and three finalists from each region will be shortlisted to compete for being a Laureate.

The 14 finalists can look forward to USD30,000 prize money and the seven Laureates will receive a year-long mentoring and cash prize of USD100,000. You are eligible if:

  1. A Women-led business

  2. Generate revenue

  3. For-profit organisation

  4. Have been running for at least 1 to 3 years.
