Cambodia’s First Startup Fair

From 16-17th February at the Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel, the Kingdom’s very first startup fair will be organised in conjunction with the Wealth Building seminar.

At the event, you’ll get the chance to showcase your startup idea to investors, like-minded startup owners and potential partners. Furthermore, the fair will be open to the public which means it will be great exposure for your product!

This means that on top of being able to showcase your product or service, the event offers you a great opportunity to network with attendees while building up your business contacts.

Here at Geeks in Cambodia, we know there are many startups looking for a platform to spread the word about their product or service and this Startup Fair is a great platform to do just that! After all, setting up a booth at the event is absolutely free.

So we really encourage you to cease this opportunity to get the word about your project out there! If you’re interested to setup at booth at the event, drop an email to and you might find yourself being able to capitalise on this great platform.

Of course, the event doesn’t just cater to those with startups that are already developed – aspiring startup owners are welcomed too! As part of the event, there will be 8 workshops held, each covering various aspects of business and becoming an entrepreneur.

These workshops will cover topics like “How to benefit from startup supporters and investors”, “Should you quit your job and start a business?” as well as “practical tips for setting up a strong marketing team”. Each of these sessions will give you valuable insight into what life is like as an entrepreneur and could help set you on your way to setting up your very own startup.

Ms Dary Dek, the event organiser, said that a big reason why the event was organised was because her team recognised that many new businesses were springing up all around Cambodia and they wanted to give these businesses a platform to showcase their products and services, while helping them to link up with more potential investors and partners.

Organised as part of the Wealth Building seminar, the Startup Fair is one of three fairs that participants can take part in, the other two being the Marketing Fair and the Wealth Forum.

Entrance to view the various fairs is free and open to the public but in order to attend the various workshops, an entrance fee of $25 will be required for adults and $15 for students. If you purchase tickets in a group of 3, attractive discounts are up for offer as well.

As such, if you’re an aspiring startup founder or have a product you want to showcase, this event is just for you! Call 023 694 4444 or 071 3333 208 to book your tickets now. Alternatively, login to
