The Global Startup Challenge 2017: Fintech is now open for applications till 10 December 2017, so Cambodia-based Startups who specialise in Fintech can now apply! As an initiative to empower innovations and startups on a global scale through the platform EDGE 196, this Challenge hopes to sieve out international startups that have the potential to become the next unicorn of the world.

Running over 26 global clusters in 196 different countries, 3 startups will be shortlisted from each cluster. From there, they will engage in an online conference pitch and battle it out to be the reigning finalist from each cluster. The cluster finalists then stand a chance to receive an investment of 50,000 USD. On top of that, the overall winner of the whole Challenge has an opportunity to win a grand investment of $1 Million USD.

Besides winning big on investments, potential startups get to access the global market where they will be facilitated and introduced to the most fitting global markets. Selected startups also have a chance to raise continuity investment through Global Investment Partners.
