Held from 29 to 30 November this year, BlockShow Asia 2017 powered by Cointelegraph took place in Singapore’s Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) and surely managed to provide a power-packed series of events!
Taking place at the spot on the map where progress is ever flourishing and changing, the conference managed to open up the window to the Global Blockchain market; filling in its participants with the best of what the industry has to offer. It was also an opportunity for dozens of strategic decisions between blockchain players to take place, so as to build a bridge between Asian and Global Markets. With that, the 1500 present crypto-passionate attendees surely managed to discover the amazing value of BlockShow Asia!
Moving onto the highlights they experienced, one of the main events was the ISOcar Startup Competition, sponsored by Waves and Crypto Bazaar. Aiming to find the most promising blockchain project, electrify.asia, the first retail electricity marketplace in Southeast-Asia addressing the need for transparency and security in the consumption of energy, took home the title ultimately. On top of winning the title, this project bagged $20,000 in prize money, along with bragging rights for emerging victorious amongst 11 other teams.
Also, ATN, a Blockchain-based AIaaS and World AI, relaunched their token sale right after they gave back the $50,000,000 that they had gained in China to the Chinese government.
Besides that, other crowning highlights of the whole conference include:
67 speakers from 20 countries shared their invaluable insights on Blockchain Technology
66 blockchain companies presented their services and products in the exciting exhibition hall
23 sponsors supported BlockShow and its incredible parties
More than 50 exclusive announcements were made
More than 3000 posts were featured on several social media channels
More than 1000 meetings took place via Jublia app
12 Blockchain startup pitches were completed
12 Token Sales launches with special offers for BlockShow Friends
Following the end of the event, the organisers of BlockShow Asia would like to extend their gratitude to all the Blockchainers involved who have showed their loyalty and support throughout the conference.
There will be more opportunities to connect with this like-minded community, especially with BlockShow’s future plans. Striving to hold a series of meetups in Europe, Australia, Tokyo, Seoul and Bangkok, the first of the series is presumed to kick off in Europe; sometime in May next year.
