After ending with a successful bang this April with BarCamp Ratanakiri, the zealous BarCamp team is back again for its next round of conferences, this time in the charming Kampong Cham province.
Staying true to its core of tech and startup, the two-day BarCamp Kampong Cham aims to share knowledge with youths and entrepreneurs in the province about the use of tech for learning and communication with its conferences.
The unique thing about BarCamp is its style of conferences, where the setting is intimate and informal, and everyone is presented a chance to express their views and clarify any questions directly with the speaker.
To refresh your memory, this ‘BarCamp’ concept was first established in the United States to bring together tech experts to share their experiences, but has been adapted in over 450 cities globally. BarCamp Cambodia itself has expanded this concept to 10 cities and provinces in the Kingdom to share knowledge on tech, social media, and entrepreneurship.
Apart from tech conferences, there would also be other conferences covering fundamental topics related to businesses that would help equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to startup, which ultimately ties back to BarCamp’s goal of enriching the tech startup scene in all areas of Cambodia.
Some business-related topics include crafting business concepts, how to create business models, cost planning for marketing and starting up, and even learning about customers, production and service.
With such a thought-out, well-rounded lineup that has almost all bases needed to start up covered, it certainly seems that BarCamp Kampong Cham 2017 is all set to enrich the budding youths and entrepreneurs in the province.
To be held from 6 to 7 May, from 8 am to 5pm at the University of Management and Economics (UME) Kampong Cham branch, do be sure to register here to be part of this two days of unique conference experience!
