On 17th August last Wednesday, over 300 participants gathered at the Cambodia-Korea Cooperation Center in Phnom Penh to be a part of the Microsoft Student Partners (MSP) launch. In partnership with local non-governmental organisation STEM Cambodia, the program aims to develop the digital talent in the Kingdom and make an impact.

On the 6th of May, Microsoft announced the launch of their SQL Server 2016 in Cambodia. Held at the Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra, the event saw over 52 attendees consisting of Chief Information Officers, Chief Financial Officers, Technical Officers, and many more participants in the industry coming together to be a part of the launch.

The Asia Foundation (TAF), a non-profit organisation that focuses on impacting and improving lives, has partnered with mobile apps solution company Golden Gekko to encourage and drive activists to create and design mobile apps to help increase the safety and security for women and girls.

SFD is a global annual event coordinated by non-profit organisation Software Freedom International (SFI), which aims to celebrate the use of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS).
