Advance Cambodia’s Transport Infrastructure with the Mobility Startup Challenge!

Via ID, a business accelerator that had popular Indonesia-based ride-sharing app GoJek as one of its beneficiaries is eagerly inviting Cambodian startups to move the future of mobility technology together with their Mobility Startup Challenge!

The challenge aims to find “daily, smart and sustainable” solutions for urban areas in four categories:

  • Mobility platforms and Services (multimodal aggregation of transport, Mobility as a Service (MaaS), using software & data for ticketing, payment and booking or developing  platforms for support services such as valeting and maintenance)

  • Connected Services (e.g. using connected vehicles, telematics, IoT for infrastructures for smart parking)

  • Shared and Micro Mobility (e.g. carpooling, car sharing and renting, ride-hailing, scooters, bike-sharing)

  • Others, which refer to any other mobility related creative technological solutions not mentioned

After the selection round, eight finalists will be selected and mentored from June 17 until June 26. From June 27 to 28, they will pitch their solutions to Via ID executives and representatives from leading mobility enterprises during a sponsored trip to InnovFest Unbound, Southeast Asia’s largest innovation festival! The team with the best solution will be rewarded with private business and strategy mentoring sessions by Via ID and its partners! Each finalist team will also receive its prize.

Ms Daphnée Lucenet, a Via ID investor, said, “I’d love to see Cambodian startups shine at this event!”

Sign up before June 10, 10:59 pm ICT to participate! Visit the Challenge website for more information and registration.
